Delete your account
You can delete your Traffic Lens account at any time. This page documents what gets deleted and how long it takes.
In the mobile app (fastest)
- Open the Traffic Lens app on iOS or Android.
- Sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Tap your avatar in the top-right corner → Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger zone card and tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion. You will be signed out immediately.
On the web dashboard
- Sign in at www.trafficlens.app/login.
- Open Settings from the avatar menu in the top-right.
- Use the Delete account control at the bottom of the page and confirm.
By email (if you cannot sign in)
Email apps@crocentinternational.com from the address registered on the account, with the subject line “Account deletion request.” We will verify the request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, password hash, sign-in metadata).
- Your profile data (display name, role assignment, saved preferences).
- Your Traffic Lens session tokens on every device.
What we keep, and for how long
- Visitor session data tracked by your company’s sites is owned by your company, not your individual user. It remains available to other admins of the company. If you are the sole admin and want the company’s data deleted, email us and we will close the company alongside your account.
- Crash reports tied to your installation are kept for up to 90 days, then auto-purged. They contain no visitor data and are not linked to your real identity.
- Backups may retain residual data for up to 30 days before they roll off.
- Records we are legally required to keep (such as billing records under tax law) are retained for the period required by law and then deleted.
Timing
Account closure is immediate — you cannot sign in once the request is submitted. Permanent deletion of the underlying records completes within 14 days. After that, no recovery is possible.
